Development Log

The obstacles I encountered during the development of the game were the workflow and learning about Unity. Most of my time was spent on youtube looking for code video tutorials to help my game achieve the levels and values I expected, but most of the time The code I tried didn't work for my game and I encountered countless errors and bugs that prevented my design ideas from being fully reflected in Unity. So I started to change my mind, first focusing on building the frameworks in the game such as scenes, characters, controllers, etc. I found a lot of excellent free resources in the asset store and modified their models and materials, and then I used The code to add the enemy mechanism to let the ball chase the player. I hope that after the collision occurs, the player will be triggered and teleported back to the initial position as a punishment, and the conflict between the codes is the obstacle I encountered. After trying different codes, I Think I expect the learning plan to include code and use different build methods to achieve more variety in-game level design and mechanics design, in the previous tabletop design I imagined that different characters have different cooldowns To avoid the capture of ghosts, if I have more time for this project, I hope to change the skills and resurrection of the character, the failure and resurrection mechanism of the player, and the main menu and scene change of the game interface. At the same time, some character skills will The character perspective is converted to the first-person FPS mode. After many failures, I believe that it takes more time to systematically learn unity and coding, and bring the idea into the game itself. I expect that in future development, more diverse interaction methods can be added, such as the design of props, teleport, resurrection, weapons, and so on. My main goal and focus is to use mods to show my tabletop game mechanics and to implement these mechanics, such as some detailed functions and mechanics, I need a very high level of proficiency and understanding of coding and unity, I hope to have the opportunity to systematically learn Unity to fully demonstrate the mechanism design.
